Ways to Support the Intrepid Museum

When it comes to donating to the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum, you can do more than just donate money and time. The museum takes in a collection of artifacts each year to help document the history of the U.S. and maintain it’ place as a leading educational museum. The artifacts that can be donated can be from the year of 1943 to 1974. Here are just some of the things that you can donate to help make sure that the Intrepid museum has the chance to stay alive with new and exciting displays.
Some of the items that you can donate to the Intrepid Museum are diaries and log books along with letters. If you have any uniforms or patches from this era, that can be displayed as well. The use of flight suits and helmets along with any type of flight gear would be of help as well. Some medals, photographs and even certificates from this time are appreciated. If you know of any ships newspapers and memos that pertain to this time, which would be something that you might want to donate as well.The Intrepid Museum needs our help in preserving history and supporting our troops and there are a number of ways to get involved.
It takes more than just monetary donations to have a successful museum.
